Wholesale Pallet Source sells returns, overstock and shelf-pull liquidation merchandise. Because of what these lots are, warranty works differently than it does at a traditional retail store. This page states exactly what warranty applies, what does not, and — importantly — what protection you have instead.
Liquidation lots are sold as-is
Every pallet and truckload is sold as-is, with no seller warranty and no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is required by law. We do not offer an extended or service warranty on liquidation merchandise, and we do not test, repair or refurbish individual items unless a listing specifically says so. Pricing reflects this: the low cost per unit exists precisely because the goods are sold as-is and untested.
Manufacturer warranty — when it still applies
New / sealed / overstock items: any original manufacturer warranty that ships with the product still applies and is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not void it, but we do not administer, register or extend it.
Customer-return, used or as-is items: assume no manufacturer warranty unless the item is still sealed in unopened original packaging. Returns often have opened boxes, missing parts, or expired registration/warranty windows.
No blanket timeframe: warranty status varies by item, brand and condition — there is no single warranty length across a lot. The condition of each lot is stated on its product page; check it before you buy.
What you are protected by
What we stand behind is that you receive the lot we described. If that is not what shows up, you are covered by our claims process — not by a product warranty:
Accuracy & condition: wrong load, manifest shortage over 10%, or a lot materially worse than described — file within 30 days of delivery. See Refund & Return.
Freight damage: covered when it is noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery — see Shipping for the inspection steps that preserve this right.
Defective delivery: a lot that arrives non-functional or unusable beyond its stated condition — report within 30 days of delivery. See Refund & Return.
Reseller responsibility
Most of our buyers are resellers. If you resell items from a lot, any warranty, guarantee or return promise you make to your own customers is yours to honor — it is separate from, and not backed by, Wholesale Pallet Source. We recommend inspecting and testing goods before you resell them and pricing for the as-is nature of the inventory.
